FM.H.101 COMPLETES AN EIGHT-PIECE PUZZLE(UNSEEN)

This is an extension of FM.H.100 and can be assessed and taught in the same way. Remember to use an unfamiliar puzzle when you assess.

Once your child has reached this level of skill with puzzles, you can turn your attention to the speed with which he completes them. Time your child as he completes a familiar puzzle, then set an egg-timer for a slightly shorter time. Encourage your child to finish the puzzle before the buzzer sounds. Aim for about 3 minutes for a familiar puzzle.
