Now the child will not only seek out your face, but continue to look into your eyes and at your mouth as you talk to her. You can encourage this by rewarding her early, fleeting eye contact with smiles and more talking. It is important at this stage to give your child plenty of time to find you. She will probably lose and find eye contact with you several times during a conversation.

Method: As for RL.A.3, but continue talking and encouraging her to look.

Score plus if your child looks at your mouth and eyes continuously for 5 seconds or more.
