RL.C.32 CHOOSES AN OBJECT WHEN NAMED, CHOICE OF 4

Now your child must select the named object from 4 alternatives.

Assess as for RL.C.20, using 4 objects and giving 3 tries for each object. Your child must select each of the 4 objects in 2 out of 3 tries to score plus.

Teach as for RL.C.20 but using 4 familiar objects or toys.

Once your child has mastered the initial set of objects, vary your sets of objects to include all the things she now knows in different combinations.

Your child can now move on to other kinds of selection activities, but do give practice at object selection from time to time, so that she remembers what she has learned.
